2009 BAY HANOVERIAN FILLY
(Wamberto-EM Ghenoa/Gold Luck)
Wrizsotto is a 2009 Hanoverian filly out of EM Ghenoa and by Harmony's Wamberto (Rousseau/ Voltaire/ Dutchboy), the 2006 Champion of the KWPN Stallion Show as well as the clear overall winner of the 2007 100-Day Stallion Performance Test at Paxton Farm. A son of the outstanding stallion Rousseau, Wamberto was approved for Hanoverian breeding on the basis of his good scores and successful lineage. Wrizsotto is among his first foal crop.
Wrizsotto is a feisty young lady with an endearing personality and has thus far demonstrated an excellent canter and walk. As her two favorite speeds have been stop and flat out, I can't comment on the trot too much because I haven't seen more than two steps of it in a row. :-)
We are looking forward to watching "Zoey" develop and hope she follows in her parents' successful footsteps.
WRIZSOTTO's Pedigree
Wamberto's sire, Harmony's Rousseau, was the leading producer of dressage horses in the Netherlands, according the KWPN's 2007 index results with an outstanding index of 181 for the production of dressage horses Wamberto's motherline bears equal strength and genetic value. His damsire Voltaire is world renowned, both as a Grand Prix jumper himself and also as sire of many international performers and influential stallions.
EM Ghenoa's bloodlines carry the influential Absatz x2 through her great grandsires Abundance and Argentan I. Her maternal grandsire Archipel, by Argentan I, is noted for producing outstanding types with confirmed brilliant basic gaits.

At the 2006 American Hanoverian Society (AHS) inspection at Morven Park, Ghenoa was named the Champion Hanoverian mare out of 23 entries with a very good score of 7.56. She received 8's for head, neck, typiness/ femininity, impulsion/elasticity and overall development and 7's for saddle position, frame, foreleg, hindleg, correctness and walk. The judges praised her harmonious conformation and type. Then in the ensuing mare show, she was named the overall Grand Champion and received her second 1a Premium award.

With an outstanding index of 181 for the production of dressage horses, Rousseau surpasses not only his peers in this meaningful index result, but stallions of all ages. Out of his first three foal crops coming of age for stallion licensing, Rousseau has twice produced the Champion of the KWPN Stallion Show. Wamberto was the 2006 Champion; Blue Hors Zack (Zagreb) was named Champion in 2007 and was sold to Blue Hors Stud of Denmark for a record high 430,000 Euro's. Rousseau has five licensed sons, including Zenon (Rousseau-Whinny Jackson) who earned a 9 for dressage capability at his stallion performance testing in Ermelo. Zenon is owned by Great Britain's international dressage rider Wayne Channon. In 2007, Rousseau's first foal crops in Germany came of age for stallion licensing. His son out of a Rotspon-Lauries Crusador mare was named to the Premium Ring of the Hanoverian licensing, a profound accomplishment for a privately owned stallion. Rousseau's tremendous production record includes outstanding mares and riding horses as well: Violita was 2005 Champion mare of her region and placed 3rd at the Dutch National Mare Show; Wodora was 2006 Champion of her region and placed 4th at the National Mare Show. With offspring competing all over the world, it will be but a short while before Rousseau's offspring are producing titles in sport like his own.
Rousseau was the 2003 Silver Medallist of the World Breeding Championships for Young Horses. He was PAVO Cup Champion as a 4-year old and Reserve Champion as a 5-year old. However he was also the sire of some top performers including Mario Deslauriers 1984 World Cup winner, Aramis. He was the sire of 19 stallion sons, including Airport, Al Capone and most famed of all, Argentinus.
Absatz
The Chestnut Hanoverian Stallion Absatz (Abglanz/Landmoor/Landdeck);1960; 16 h; was noted for endowing his foals with light, free action, superb conformation and an unparalleled disposition, which made them extremely easy to train. His infusion of Trakehner lightness and 'blood' can be clearly seen in today's modern Hannoverian horse and is credited with bringing about great improvement in the head and neck of the Hanoverian horses.
